The Bizarre Winchester Mystery House

The Winchester Mystery House, located in San Jose, is one of California's gems boosting 500 to 600 rooms and it's architectural oddities such as miles of hallways, 47 fireplaces, secret passageways, a seance room and an odd fascination with the number thirteen. The house, built by Sarah Winchester (the heir to the Winchester Firearms fortune) began construction on the house after her husband died and was said to be tormented by the ghosts of the people her husbands guns had killed. This is defiantly a tour worth taking!
